My Twisters are a harmony of contrasts. Simple, sleek shapes turn into graceful rhythmic ribbons that break free from control, always in search of balance.

Each work is unique, shaped by craftsmanship but above all by chance.

The making process

My twisters are turned on the turntable, where the clay gets a simple shape.
When the clay is leather-hard, the shape is turned and cut spirally.

The cutting lines are carefully separated and supported by small pieces of clay.
After the roughen some of these pieces are removed.

During the high basin, for this brown clay up to 1190 °, a falling movement occurs.

When the last supports are removed, the shape comes into its own.
