The Easter bunny is made in natural clay and finished with our different Artisann glazes:

Making process

• I make a slab of natural clay
• I cut the slab out in the shaped Easter house
• I press the eyes and nose into it
• I attach the tail and the lower legs with some slip
• A biscuit baking in an oven of 950° which takes at least one and a half days
• Is glazed by hand and brush
• Is baked in a glaze oven of 1250° and takes two days.

The high-sided bowl is possible because the clay is stoneware clay and can withstand this high temperature. I also specially designed the glaze recipe for a 1250° bowl and it is unique. This baking and manufacturing process determines that the “Sunrise” collection has a high quality, which means that pieces jump, crack, ... are virtually nil.
